Coe-DSAI, New Technology Point In Karnataka
Recently, Karnataka Government officially declared that, Artificial Intelligence (CoE-DS&AI) and Centre of Excellence for Data Science will be established. Nasscom is the implementation and programme partner in the launching of this expensive project. Karnataka one of the most techno-smart states in the nation looks all set to welcome the global change. With this initiative, it can help top institutes like Indian Institute of Science Bengaluru can generate talent in the right direction. According to the Public Private Partnership (PPP) model, the new centre is aimed at promoting the development of Data Science and Artificial Intelligence in the nation. The initial capital investment upon the new project is of the order of 40 crores. There is acute need for skills like data analytics and machine learning systems in top business enterprises and government settings. In order to take its initiative ahead, the state government will finance the project in upcoming 5 years
